The Venue - Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater

The Gerald R. Ford Amphitheater in Vail is a spectacular outdoor venue with covered seating as well as an additional seating area on an expansive grassy hillside with a breathtaking view of the Rocky Mountains.

Can I bring chairs, bags, cameras and outside food into the venue?
Outside food and non-alcoholic beverages are permitted. Non-alcoholic beverages must be sealed and not opened. The following are not permitted at the facility: Cameras, Recording Devices, Skateboards, Bicycles, Scooters, In-Line Skates, Cigarette and Cigar Smoking, Lawn Chairs, Pets, Alcohol.

How will cancellations/refunds be handled?
There will be no refunds.

What time does the ground open?
Festival gates will open at 5pm on Friday and 1pm on Saturday

What happens if it rains?
The show will still go on. However, don't worry, we will move into the hotel ballroom if it downpours.

What is the average weather during the event?
Be prepared for moderate weather with daytime temps in the mid-70s and nighttime temps dipping into the low 60s.

Are there volunteer opportunities available?

Will there be shuttles from the hotel to the venue?
There is a free public shuttle that is available to you from the hotel to the Ford Amphitheater.
